hello.

i went to target, discount shoe factory, jaime’s house, and walmart with who else? jaime on friday. that was fun. neither of us bought anything at target or the discount shoe factory but surprise surprise we did buy stuff at walmart. dorks. anyways, saturday morning i went garage sale-ing with my mom and brother. i saw the paces! that was nice. i got a polaroid camera for free! that made me happy. later  that afternoon i went to carly’s house. we went to target and she got really cool huge sunglasses and we got a bunch of scrapbooking stuff. oh yeah! i got a macchiato at STARBUCKS! teehee. i love it. we went back to carly’s and did the first page of her scrapbook. it was sooooo cute! her grandma came over and we had cheeseburgers for dinner. carly and her dad gave us a little fashion show of all their new clothes. they got some really good stuff! then we got in the hot tub. it was great. it has changing colored lights and a little waterfall thing. then we stayed up like really late. ugh, we went to early church the next morning. i was too tired. jaime came too. then i had to work close. i took a nap right after church like until 10 minutes before jaime picked me up for work. then yesterday jaime and i went to carlys and basically watched tv. we got in the hot tub too. but the first time we tried to get in it rained on us.:( so we played truth from carly’s little book  while we waited for it to stop. then carly’s mom brought home pizza and we watched man of the house. i went to sleep at like 8:30. now, i have to go and get ready for work. so adios.

there ain’t much to the mystery

misery loves company

she just waves her hand and says, “whatever

this ain’t love, this ain’t love, this ain’t love at all.”

and he says, “we’re not romeo, we’re not juliet.

how long does it take to fill  this emptiness?

we’re just two lost souls and baby, we got no regrets.”

okay canada

we stayed in quebec city at le chateau frontenac. which is like the nicest hotel i’ve ever been in, none the less stayed at. on the first day we just walked around the lower city. quebec city is really old and is in two layers…upper and lower. you can take this huge set of stairs to get from one to the other. or you can take this elevator type thing called the funiclaire.we only went to the lower city once so we took the funiclaire. my mom and dad went up the breakneck stairs though one day when my brother and i weren’t with them. the next day we hung out around the upper town and took a horse and buggy ride. it was so cool. he gives you all the history. and in the city, there’s a lot of historic preservation rules, so it’s really gorgeous. the fast food places can’t have ugly yellow or red signs. and the city was built so long ago that all the power lines are underground. not to mention, it’s extremely clean. most people speak french there, if you didn’t know. but, pretty much everywhere we went was touristy so people working in stores knew enough english. the next day we went and took the tour of parliament, which is amazingly gorgeous. they have these sort of twin rooms with huge paintings that were mesmerizing. the next day we went to see the changing of the guard at the citadelle. that was really fun. my mom and i also took a tour of the hotel. the guide was all dressed up and acted like the magic of the hotel had kept her alive all those years. she took us to the ballroom and told us about the conferences of quebec. which winston churchill came to and the conferences were held to try to figure out how to win the war. that room was pretty awesome. we also rented a car one day and went to mount monterncy (sp?) falls. so gorgeous. and we went to st. anne’s cathedral. my dad and i got in the paper while we there! it’s in french though so all we recognize is our names.the cathedral was so beautiful. it was decorated with so much detail i was a little overwhelmed. it was really peaceful and calming in there. we also went to a mall that was supposedly a good one but bleck. but how can a mall be any good when you just went to falls and a cathedral anyway? so, that’s the big stuff of my trip. oh! the foooood. everything we ate was so good. we did eat fast food once at the mall and it was miserable. we became very spoiled by the good food. crepes were my favorite. we’re going to find a recipe and make them at home. so whoever wants to come over, we can have a crepe party! i hope i didn’t bore you to death with all the details. we haven’t gotten the pictures yet, but i’ll repost them on this entry when we get them. so check back if you want to see them.

since i’ve been home not much has happened. i worked last night. went to jaime’s. we took some pictures. jaime didn’t really seem that into though. got a rubber band in my teeth (ouch!) . went to guitar this morning. i did go see charlie and the chocolate factory with jaime, her grandma, brother, and cousins. the movie was okay. about how i expected it to be though. it was like a high trippy kid’s movie. i think my dad’s taking me and my brother shoeshopping today. and we might go hiking. leave some comments :)
