team jerry
i was reading some jerry bashers rants and his apologies, and people’s reactions to his apologies..blah blah blah. and i got pissed off about something that often makes me angry. why is it so freaking socially acceptable to just straight up diss all christians because of one or two outspoken people? jerry’s stereotyping of other religions and groups is what people got so mad at him for…yet they turn right around and do the same thing to me? um. i’m not cool with it. and there are always those who say…blah blah blah…not all christians…or blah blah blah…not yoooou. bull. these people often make fun of Jesus himself, and anyone who loves Him. so, yes, i take it personally. and you can convince yourself that you are not attacking the “decent” christians. but your stereotypes are just as stupid as Jerry’s, and you know it. so think twice before you make some hahaha MEAN comment about Christians.
and i know that not everyone that hates Jerry hates all Christians. and not everyone that makes fun of certain Christian practices thinks all Christianity is ridiculous. but i have certainly encountered, personally and via the lovely internet, people who tout “tolerance” in reference to everything except Christians, which defeats the enTIRE concept, which i happen to believe in. so stop that.

“Of all religions, Christians ought to doubtless inspire the most tolerance, although hitherto the Christians have been the most intolerant of men.” Voltaire

i could be wrong but…
i was reflecting on the recent protest in D.C. and i couldn’t help but thinking that he only has a year left, and seeing as i seriously doubt that he will be impeached within that time, shouldn’t we be focused on the next election now? before there are only 2 candidates left to choose from? protesting for peace is one thing…but impeach bush? his term is almost over anyways. if that movement were going to be succesful it would have happened already.
i could be completely wrong and uninformed about the whole thing. but that is what occured to me when i read someone’s chant. “the bush regime has got to go.”
